It was fantastic to be recognised as finalists and winners at the West Midlands regional finals of the Great British Care Awards and more so because the innovation and work force development categories are so important to us. Sarah Kenning and her team have worked so hard to ensure that the course content, teaching and effectiveness of the learning means that Care staff are engaged, enjoy the courses and most importantly, use and deploy the knowledge in their care setting.
To share a room with so many caring companies and professionals was a joy and to celebrate as a team was also a lovely opportunity. We were finalists in 3 categories, the Care Innovator and Workforce Development awards and the Co-Production awards alongside Fairway who we have worked so closely with over many years meant a really successful evening for us all as we strive to continually improve, innovate and inspire.
